Additional Projects

US-93, Blue Lakes Blvd. and Pole Line Rd. Intersection Improvements Project

This project, anticipated to begin summer 2025, will evaluate feasible and constructable alternatives to improve safety and mobility in the Blue Lakes Boulevard and Pole Line Road area into 2050.

The project will have a strong value planning component. Value planning is a process to collaborate with many individuals to solve complex problems to maximize the benefits for the users.

The outcome will be a range of short-, mid-, and long-term projects to improve mobility in the area.

Potential Ideas*:

  • Widen intersection/add thru lanes

  • Lengthen left turn pockets

  • Triple lefts

  • Single-point urban interchange (SPUI)

  • Add bridges/flyover interchange

*List is not exhaustive
